High Availability for Asterisk

Fully Meshed N-Node Clusters

By |2025-07-28T16:05:33-05:00July 28th, 2025|News|

Telium is pleased to announce the ability to create fully meshed n-node HAast clusters.  Clusters can contain 2-255 nodes (servers), each able to take over as primary.  Clusters can join/separate from the mesh at will, allowing for creation of clusters over networks with intermittent host availability.  The mesh can dynamically reconfigure while keeping all VoIP services active; surviving nodes vote (quorum) on which node to promote, or can rely on an independent coordinator node to dictate which node should promote.

The management (Nodelink) interface connecting nodes can operate simultaneous/alternatively over IP, serial, LoRa, X.25, SLIP, etc. networks to offer highly resilient  and secure routes between nodes.

The Meshed N-Node Clusters feature is available as part of the OEM edition of HAast, and requires an additional license.
