Amateur Radio Partnership
We’re there when all else fails
Overview
Telium is proud to support amateur radio, and the enthusiasts who contribute so much to the hobby . Given the popularity of Asterisk in the amateur community (for AllStarLink, ARES, emergency services, autopatch on repeaters, VoIP experimentation, etc.), Telium would like to help the community by offering it’s various telephony software products at no charge.
Typical applications in the amateur community include:
- Use HAast to create an Asterisk cluster for VoIP resiliency across multiple mesh nodes. Or, create a failover AllStarLink node to keep telephony up in case of equipment failure or route failure (IP or RF).
- Add SECast to a PBX node exposed to the internet to prevent hacking and fraud
- Deploy PBXsync to synchronize a large number of PBX’s across an emergency network
