Telnet Interface
Show The License Number In The CLI
Most Telium products offer a telnet interface for application management. Telnet to the address and port used by the application to reach a Command Line Interface (CLI). At the CLI enter the command “license status” and you will be shown details of the license in effect. One line will contain the license number of the application (on this host), identified by “License Number” or “Original License Number”.
License File
Show The License File Contents
All Telium products use a license file to activate the application. The license file is always located in the product directory (e.g. /usr/local/haast) and the file name is a concatenation of the product name, the license number, and the “.license” extension. You can display the file contents by logging into the host (using SSH or local console), and using the cat command to show the file contents (e.g. cat /usr/local/haast/haast.12345.license). In the License section you will see a line identied by “Number” or “Original Number”.
USB Dongle
View The USB Dongle Tag
Attached to each USB Dongle is a tag containing license information. There are one or two numbers on each tag, identified as LN (License Number) or OLN (Original License Number). Please note that if you have activated your product using Cloud, Volume License Server, or Hardware Fingerprint, then you will not have a USB Dongle.
