Ongoing Sangoma / FreePBX Concerns
Telium would like to reassure its customers that we will continue to support FreePBX, in light of news about further layoffs of key development staff at Sangoma, and Sangoma’s ongoing financial losses. If you have concerns about the future of Sangoma’s proprietary “FreePBX Distro” product, add-ons, or support, we encourage you to consider open source alternatives. Telium will allow all qualified product licenses to move to a different PBX / platform at no charge, and Telium support staff will assist with product migration issues at no charge. Telium will also immediately support any FreePBX project forks to ensure customers can continue to deliver highly available and secure telephony products and services to their customers.

2025 License Fee Changes
Telium products which incorporate license activation will encounter a one-time product price change on Dec 31, 2024 due to a change in the license technology fees. Telium uses a third party licensing solution, and changes to the agreement will cause some product prices to increase while others will decrease. We expect to announce more flexible license terms as well.
